Politicians don’t do anything without a profit to themselves. Anything they can use to gain more power for themselves they will. Those that are in it for the people get snuffed. Hammer - I would rather not believe that. I don’t think that all politicians are like that - some are, though often the reason people get into politics is genuine, and based on deep beliefs and convictions.
No doubt, politics being what it is may get in the way but I am still a believer in democracy, and the basic good of people.
