There seems to be a relationship between UFOs and bodies of water. I have been fortunate enough to have seen UFOs which doesn’t make me an expert but it does differentiate me from a lot of people who haven’t seen one. There are probably many people out there who’ve seen UFOs but disregarded what they saw as some kind of natural phenomenon or a military test that was being kept secret from them. Since my first sighting of a UFO commenced when I was four years old, I already knew there were things out there for which no media explanation was forthcomming. But upon reading many accounts of UFO sightings one theme kept comming up: the sightings of UFOs appearing around or flying into or out of large bodies of water. It first came to my attention while reading a book by Shirley MacLaine where she wrote about UFOs comming and going into and out of Lake Titicaca on the boarder of Peru and Bolivia. There was even a sign she said which read, “UFO Observation Point”. But there seemed to be a connection between UFOs and the highest navigable body of water on Earth. It had further piqued my curiosity after my friend Carlos told me of seeing a huge object which he thought was an ocean liner at first off the coast of northern California, only to realise it wasn’t. See my description of his encounter on this site under the title,”Stinson Beach”. But there seems to be a relationship between UFOs and large bodies of water. Could it be that our extraterrestrial brothers and sisters are using water as a means of energy? It would be fantastic if they were. I have since come upon a web-site which deals with UFOs and water called appropriately Water UFO. There are documented sightings of UFOs flying in and out of large bodies of water from the 1600s to the present. What’s amazing is that many of these sightings took place in the same general areas over a long period of time. But of all the reports I read, one thing was clear: every report stated that the object seen was totally without sound, completely silent. That is exactly what I found interesting when I saw what I thought at first was a helicopter one night here in Berlin. I could hear the engines from jets at the near-by airport but I didn’t hear a sound from the object closer to me. Never the less, I believe there is a reason UFOs have been seen comming and going into and out of the depths of our world’s oceans and lakes. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to tank up with water instead of gasoline? There are already machines that can extract water from the air. We should be sending them to drought-stricken Ethiopia.

I was wondering about the silence factor…
Very interesting connection - water and UFO’s. I wonder if it is energy related… or another thought just occurred to me - maybe the aliens are amphibians - and feel comfortable in water?
For us to try and figure out a highly evolved species that control UFOs is like apes trying to learn german or japanese. We don’t even know if these things are biological or robotoid, or a combination of both. Whatever they are, they have an intelligence behind them far more developed than ours. And we thought we were smart.
Of course its all speculation - but is part of what is so intriguing about the whole phenomena - not the UFO’s themselves but who is in them or who sent them.

I will try to contact you. I find the website www.waterufo.net extremely interesting. There is so much material there it is like a chronological encyclopedia. I would suggest that everyone go to this site. It is quite fascinating.
When you ask the question, “Could it be that our extraterrestrial brothers and sisters are using water as a means of energy?”, the answer may well be, yes. But it may also be that you’re not asking the most important question about why there are so many sightings at bodies of water. If any UFOs actually are crewed by beings of an extraterrestrial origin, then considering the great distances to other star systems, these craft don’t just come and go from here to other stars on a regular basis. There is the greatest likelihood that these beings came here a long time ago, and established long term bases here on Earth, out of which they operate. Now combine that idea with the question of why eyewitnesses see UFOs coming and going from bodies of water? An easy possible answer that springs to mind is that they have hidden underwater bases where they’re living while here on the Earth. Where better but underwater to hide such bases from us, so that we don’t officially know they are here? I don’t claim to have originated this idea. Many others have proposed this theory before me, and continued sightings in and around bodies of water add weight to this theory. I read your very provocative and well written article under the website you furnished. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in finding the truth. One cannot come up with answers without first asking questions. I think your postulations are quite valid and they make a lot of sense to me. There are many places on the Earth that remain hidden to the majority of people. The arctic and antarctic regions, underwater, the deserts, and the highest mountains, are great hiding places. All are inhospitable to most human beings. There are some strange things up there like the monoliths on Greenland.
hi, i and a group of mates have seen 3 UFO’s in the space of two months recently and they have all been around the water. One was huge and over the bay in Ibiza and the other two all on separate occasions were in Marshfield which is write next to the sea wall. I agree on your theory with the water connection because as you said we have never been to the deepest depths of the ocean and they are mainly seen around water areas. I am now fascinated by it all after these sightings and really want to know what is going out there. Its strange how recently sooo many people are seeing these UFO’s aswell, is something being planned by something out there or military keeping a secret. Theres lots of questions we can ask each other but i suppose we will never know, unless of course something happens…….

thanks for the information and your interest. You probably saw a mother ship over the bay in Ibiza. Ibiza sure sounds like a great place to be right now. I think the Mediterranean is an interesting place for UFO activity. I was camping on the beach in France on the boarder with Spain a few summers back and there were some incredible evenings of showers of shooting stars. But mixed in with the shooting stars were UFOs. It was like the UFOs were playing with them and putting on a show for us earthlings. Much better than television. The casual observer might not have noticed them while they were moving approximately like the shooting stars except for the fact that they would all of a sudden stop abruptly in mid air and then fly off in the other direction. I see a few possiblities as to why UFOs are seen around large bodies of water. Water could be an energy source for them or there might be underwater bases or maybe they just find it fascinating. I just know that snorkeling was one of my fvourite things to do when I was down there on the Cote d’Azur.
I saw one in Aberytwyth in 1982/83. Flying around Cardigan Bay. I have heard that if a compound (deuterium)of Water (H2O) can be sucessfully ‘fused’ this would produce almost unlimited energy/power. I think this is waht CERN is trying to do. (Create the ‘god particle amongst other things). I def. think UFO’s are using our water for energy purposes.

It’s interesting to read your comments just now. I was away for a week on a lake used by the STASI and other "elites" of the former East Germany as their "summer retreat", and saw some strange lights there. Some underwater, which were probably night divers. But anyway, I was prompted to think about just those things you’ve mentioned when I was there. Also, before going to sleep at night, I was reading a book about the physics of StarTrek. Of course, that had to do with Dilithium Crystals and not deuterium. I’m going to re-read your comments again and hopefully, I’ll be able to give you some food for thought.
Hello Hammer, I saw the programme which was reviewing renewable energy sources on UK BBC2 (nothing to do with UFO’s). The scientist mentioned as the world is approx. 70 % water if we could harness the power in Deuterium we would have energy in abundance! I was reading a book at the time on crop circles which mentioned water sources are often found near the circles. That’s how I made the connection. If you google ‘ufo and deuterium some interesting links come up.

It is interesting this research group for magnetic fusion research calls their ‘plasma’ creations ‘ufos’. Any ideas anyone?
I have watched Fusion Research for many many years, hopeing they would suceed. But, in the end, I’m sure they will find another source of power, long before they get Fusion Reactors to work. I have seen many pictures of their attempts. The complexity is amazing to the point of being ridiculous. In one story I read, they reported that the soonest a Fusion Reactor could be brought online is 50 years. If we could just, hurry up and solve the technical problems related to room temperature super conductors, and replaced the current Electrical Grid and save about 30% of the power. There are lots of options, we could put huge receiving antennas into the oceans and beam Micro-Wave energy, from Space, where the Sun Generates electricity via Photo\Solar cells. There is also the potential to develope power by currents in the worlds ocean and Rivers. If you watch any Science TV you will see many ways to not only create Electricity, but save much of it to start with. I have seen these new horizontal wind turbines, that could be mounted around the edges of a building and they generate power, no matter what direction the wind blows. Also a garden on the roof, new types of windows, and better insulation are a few, etc. etc..

actually, this in response to your comments on 2012 and Columbus but since my blog about "ufo water and truth decay" is more fitting, I just want to suggest once again to check out www.waterufo.net There you will find a chronological reports of sightings of UFOs occuring in and around large bodies of water. Water is not only the "universal solvent" but I believe it is the universal source of energy as well as life. I just received a flyer coincidentally here in Germany about a "water pharmacy" for lack of a better translation into english. The information is very thought provoking. For those of you who can read german, I’ll give you the web address if you send me a private message since we’re not here to promote or advertise. I’ve got nothing to do with this company but they’ve got waters they call "living water" from deep under the Earth, for specific uses from the immune system to constapation. Again, I know nothing about this company, but I think they are on to something. I believe water is the key. Why is it that finding the existence of water on other planets is so sensational? Hammer
Hi hammer: Did you get my post on CJ and I photographing a UFO. I was in the basement, when he came runnig in and said grab your camera, there’s something in the Sky, just hanging there. So, I started grabbing my camera equiptment, which was in a number of places. Then went outside to see it. At first, I thought it may have been a Super Nova. I have a camera and a intended to use the lanyard, because with the 70 to 300 mm, at 300mm, camera shake is a problem, but I couldn’t find it, so we had to hand fire it. hen I first downloaded the pics, I didn’t see much at first. But further review showed that the object was perfectly round. The pic, didn’t show anything hanging of the bottom, as I would if it was a weather baloon. I live in between Sea-Tac airport and McCord field Air Force base, but in my 71 years, I have only seen a weather baloon once, and it had a long tail with instruments hanging off the bottom. This UFO was perfectly round, with no protrusions. Also, the UFO was drifting in an area where many airliners fly, it was flying in the landing path for Sea-Tac, if it was a weather baloon, what the hell was it doing there. If it had any instruments aboard, and an aircraft hit it, it could have caused a bad accident. I’m going to www.waterufo.net now, I’ll talk at you later JR.
