I have seen the same sort of thing, or very similar sort of thing, in the night sky at various locations and over many decades. It was always what I thought at first to be a star until it started to move in a zig-zag pattern, very slowly at first, starting and stopping, then it dissapeared sometimes at tremendous speed out of sight. The first time was when I was a kid trying to observe the russian Sputnik satellite when I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area. After that, I've seen the similar thing while in France, Arizona, Maui, and Berlin. These were observations that I made which were consistent in their manner. I've observed other unexplainable things not only in the night sky but one time in broad daylight as well which could have well been a weather balloon. There was never any sound connected to any of them, even one that I thought must be a helicopter at first because of it's movement, but it was too close not to make any noise. Almost all seemed to be objects that were at a far distance away but moved in what I can only describe as an erratic manner. Have you had similar reports or experiences?

I've seen some stuff, but I was always pretty sure that its was a satellite (it had consistent movement in one direction) What interests me in your story is that there was no sound, yet they seemed so close.

All of the things I have seen were from a distance, in that until they started moving I thought they were stars. The only time I saw somethng not far away was just once. I live in Berlin, Germany and was standing on my balcony on the fifth floor at two am on a warm night. Suddenly, a very bright light rose above the rooftop of an apartment building across the street. It rose slowly like a helicopter and then remained stationary. There wasn't a sound to be heard. I found that very odd, especially at two in the morning. It hovered for about a minute and it was so bright I couldn't see any detail. It then moved slowley to the left and remained stationary again for a minute or two. Then it moved quickly in the direction of Tempelhof Airport and out of sight. The airport is very close by and on the rare occasion a helicopter takes off or lands from there I always hear them.

That is strange. Was that a strange experience in a good way? I mean, I am sure you think about it a lot - I would - I am sure there is life out there and it might have come to visit...
Do you go looking purposefully - I used to but gave up in the end.

I found it a good thing to see these things. No, I didn't go looking purposely. The thing I've thought about though is I've seen these things while looking for other things. For example: looking for the Sputnik. I was a small child but I was looking for it at night with my neighbour, a physics teacher. I thought I saw the Sputnik but he told me a satellite wouldn't move that way. I never forgot that. The next time was observing some bright colored lights behind some cloud cover over San Francisco. In a break in the clouds I saw the same "star" moving around. I saw the same thing on Maui as I was waiting for fireworks on the 4th of July. The thing I was looking for when I had seen that bright light like a diamond in Berlin was that on a few nights before I had seen an eclipse of the planet Venus and the Moon which was spectacular. I was just observing the sky. I did sort of have the feeling we were being observed, but that was just a feeling. Probably these things were coincidences. But I never looked with the hopes of seeing a UFO.

I forgot to mention seeing similar things in Arizona and the south of France. In those places the skies are so full of stars one just naturally watches the sky at night. I believe if you are in those places and watch the sky long enough you'll most likely see something which you can't explain away as a coventional aircraft.

hey yall...im from minnesota..ive seen 2 sightings since ive lived here...one back when i was 16, seen a brown/orange saucer (with windows that you could see in) and it morphed into 3 orange/brownis lights an flew off super fast. all with no sound. it was right above my house... way closer that a plane would be...i told every one i knew what i seen...they all thought i was crzy, or dreaming...or they would say it was a plane or satelite. and in 2008 halloween night i went to some hay rides an stuff...i seen like 4 shooting stars that night an 3 satelites...so a lot of activity in the sky for being in ciyt lights...i live in woodbury i got home that night, parked my car. then got out...every time i get out of my car i always scan the sky just to see if any thing is out ther...and out of no where i seen an all black traingle ish kinda thing...no lights...no sound...no nothing it flew really slow across the sky...it litterally blended in with the sky...i only seen it cuz it was covering the stars...i have no clue what i seen...that night i couldnt sleep...i couldnt get that image out of my head. also...i vacation in upper michigan a few times a year...i was at a lake with my grandpa a few years back...two nights in a row...we seen 3 lights in a huge triangle shape that moved slow across the sky...ive seen shooting stars, satelites hundreds of times. ive studied ufos an the stars for years, even took 5 classes in college on astronomy so im pretty familiar with the sky...but this was 3 in a triangle shape.. we seen these lights 2 days in a row..we returned a third night in a row and didnt see any thing....do satelites travel in grouups of 3?? i donoo what i seen them two nights.

I have seen or had what you call two close encounters myself. One was huge disc shaped glowing entirely of a yellow color with four red evenly spaced red lights on it's bottom, which appeared to be more red from glowing hot than emmiting a normal red light. It was about a quarter mile from me it appeared to be at least one hundred feet in diameter. It was on its side moving east to west slowly and silently.I watched it disappear behind a row of hills and could still see it's glow for a while.

Later in my life when I was thirty six I saw a smaller disc shapped object at least thirty feet in diameter Just floating silent and stationary about fifty feet or less above my head.It was night,it had what looked like two brilliant white landing lights on one end that seemed to be spaced apart from each other about the same distance as headlights of a car.All of a sudden the landing lights went off then beautiful perimeter lights came on around the craft blinking off and on as the lights rotated around it's perimeter. The lights were red blue amber and whitish.the cadence and the speed of the rotating and blinking off and on lights remained the same until the craft began to manuver rolling end over end in the same space it had been floating stationary. Then it began to move very slowly in the oppisite direction of it's rolling motion. It would stop rolling in one direction and then change to another. It exhibited many different manuvers and with each manuver,it's perimeter lights would change their cadence and speed of rotation around the disc.It completed all these manuvers directly in the area over my head.It then leveled out remaining motionless, the perimeter lights slowed down
and continued to rotate at an even pace and cadence of blinking off and on for a few seconds.I couldnt hear a sound comming from it.Suddenly the perimeter lights went out and the landing lights came back on and the disc began to slowly decend to just a few feet off of the ground and began to move out of sight slowly
following the contours of the ground.I watched it until it was completely out of sight. The most amazing and strange thing I have ever witnessed.I was a police officer at the time in California and I asked my Police Chief if he had ever witnessed a UFO.He told me yes but dont tell anyone what you saw they will think you are a nut case.Later another police officer from our department saw a ufo and followed it for quite some time along the coast of California. He made the mistake of calling it in and was in persuit for futher identification. The next day he was unindated with reporters from all ove the state. He had to diconnect his home phone until the reporter activity had died down. They would call him at all hours of the day and night. He would hang up from one call and the phone would immediately ring again. This was in the late 70s or early 80s.In Crescent City California.

That is such a precise description I can see it now. Such sightings are so beautiful. But yet, my experience has been that in this beauty there is a disdain. I don't know yet why. Even though these beings are technologically superior to us, we as humans have something they want, ie. that which they don't have. Just take care of your soul and it will take care of you.

hammer, do you think that none of the aliens have souls? if you are referring to alien abduction and unwanted medical exams, isnt that what the US offered ? their citizens in exchange for technology? if anybody has any stats on which countries report abductions and to what extent ... that would be helpful, but i think far and away that these have mostly occurred in the US.

i am sure non earth humanoids on the whole, must have soul or spirit. If ET's have had us under observation for decades or centuries or even millenia ... they must know by now that our governments often dont represent the will of the people.

Can i ask why? you are so certain that their intentions are malevolent and not benevolent? apart from the Draco Reptilians and the little grey hybrids / clones. and the dreaded annunaki. someone or something is keeping them at bay quite successfully. if they were going to attack us, would we need the big light show that seems to be being prepared for us?

is it something you know, or something you feel?

i feel like i live among many humans who seem to have no soul - no idea at all of who they are or what it is they need to feel connected. No one seems to want to let go of 'normality', which is slowly but surely suffocating the human spirit. but thats just my take on it

Wow, susan1963,
are you reading my mind? You pose some interesting hypothesies. I never thought about the U.S. government offering it's citizens as collatral for technology. What a brilliant thought. A dreary one but I can accept it as possible. I remember my first thoughts. I was a baby taken to the Mare Island Naval Shipyard Hospital, where I was born, for an injection and examination. It's all in black and white now and they tore down the hospital because of asbestos. When I was four years old I had a dream. Look up "Bay School 1957" on this site. I'm sure I was abducted. Through discussions I've had with Derrel Sims the alien hunter, I'm sure that what I've experienced was an abduction. As to your question about aliens having souls. Are they sentient beings? I don't think so. It's just my feeling. They are like the aliens in the film "Mars Attacks". I don't want to burst anyone's bubble but that's my feeling. You offer so many questions that I can't answer. But I personally don't think the things we encounter as aliens have souls like we do. They are either machines or intelligences, but they have not evolved,a word I hate, to the stage of being able to feel empathy. We are superior to them in that respect. They might be able to exist for millenia where we exist in our bodies for a few decades. But our souls are indestructable. Life goes on for us. To tell you the truth, I don't know what aliens are or where they come from. I just know this; anything that instills fear in me is not my friend. I've written a lot about my experiences on this site and I'm thankful to have a platform such as this to share my experiences. The world we live in is, in my opinion, controlled by evil. But there is a good and benevolent force that supercedes that. It's our job to get in touch with that power. It's about creation. Those who would harm us have destruction as their motto. Use that as a guideline. Who destroys is an alien to the free human spirit of humanity. Please susan1963,write here in the blog. You have such a good awareness of what our life is about and it should be shared with thousands of people on the internet.

I believe that I had an abduction experience but I call it a dream even though it is still as vivid as a vidio.
When I recall it to ponder the question of it's reality,it is more like a memory than any dream I have ever had.I will share the dream in the future.

hi wade (?) - i find it fascinating that both you and hammer have had sightings and both feel you may have a (unremembered) encounter of the 3rd kind... have either of you tried hypnotherapy / regression ? do you feel wary when you have had your sightings as well? i look forward to hearing of your encounter when you are ready. same for you hammer. does it make you uncomfortable to focus too much on remembering? do you get so far, and then push the thoughts away because you're not sure you want to know?

hey hammer, i dont read minds, but i do have a tendency to "hear" things unsaid - between the lines if you like. i think its just because i listen-listen because i can pin down in words things that people cant define for themselves or the thing they are trying NOT to express. pity my poor children . they cant get away with a thing !

I am an avid student of human behaviour - but its all down to an empath / sympath type thing. its innate. and it has a habit of putting me in my place; i can read what people are thinking about me too, and i can give you the psychological motivation behind it as well. double edged sword. ive experienced pre-knowledge a lot in my life but it took me a long time to start trusting my instincts and take heed rather than view it it retrospect. And its made me a great respecter of truth, even when its not what i want to hear.

hammer, you are so right, the world is run by evil - and there are so many followers of that evil in this world. its permeated its way right through to the human existence, without people even being aware that it is embedded in their lives because evil is not just an action, it is a thought, and it gets passed from generation to generation. to us each and every living human, we are the sum of our thoughts, and we all generally believe that our human experience is similar to other peoples. so our normal, is 'normal' and that defines how we view and live in the world.

and in that, is my hardest life experience - my normal is definitely not 'the normal'.

i would like feedback on evil and human experience !!!

Hi Susan,
I have never had hypnotic regression. But what I call a dream starts out by me waking up on a gurney type of table with little grey guys around me.I Was in fear ,outspokenly so.In just a matter of seconds a human came in through the door to my room.I seemed to recognize him,I felt like I knew him and I settled right down we talked together and I remember laughing with him.I don't remember the conversation except asking him if he would show me around the craft. He led me out of the room and down a hallway and through a door into what appeared to be a control room with a pilot at some controls. My attention was immediately directed to a viewing screen above and directly in front of the pilot.I noticed that we were above a graveled mountain road and it appeared we were following it.my attention then settled onto the pilot who acted as if I was not there. He was slender and skeleton like and appeared to have an exoskeleton like a crab does.Reality hit me with a great flush of extreme fear like I have never felt before in my life.I began to weep like a child and all I remember after that is that I said out loud I want to go home now. When I woke up I was at home in bed.I found a scar on my body that I have no Idea how I got it.It was completely healed when I found it and I don't remember getting any injury on that part of my body. And I should have remembered being injured on my private parts.

Hi Susan1963,

I think you have described what I feel the difference is between human beings and aliens and quite frankly those who a running things. Humans are capable of sympathy/empathy. I don't believe aliens or the military industrial complex are. Human life for them is expendable in my opinion. I have seen UFOs but never had any physical encounter with aliens. I have had dreams where I've encountered them though. Those dream encounters were never pleasant. The aliens were always cold and seemed to have a disdain for humanity at least for me. I have never had fear when seeing a UFO, just fascination. I've heard more stories of people's frightning and negative encounters with aliens than positive ones, and most of the positive ones I felt were made up. I've been hypnotized before but not in order to recall any abduction experience. I know "the Alien Hunter" Derrell Sims works with hypnosis but I've never thought about it.

Hi xfile,
your experience is similar to mine except in my dream I saw the UFO land and I went up inside but didn't see anyone. I did see what I now know was a metallic looking operation or examination table and a control panel of sorts. I had this dream when I was four years old. The craft landed on the baseball field of the school I was first to attend a year later. There were no kids on the playground and the school seemed closed. It was daytime. I had never been to the school before but it was exctly as it appeared in my dream in every detail when I started kindergarten.

how long ago do you think this experience happened? does it make you scared of the possibility that they may come again? i think an abductee experience must be very frightening and i dont think i would like to be one. when you see 'lights' do you feel fear at all? it must make you question a lot ... why me, what for. i think that the abductee experience may be another reason why full disclosure may never happen, because the governments will have a lot of people to answer to. on top of the 50 other very good reasons why full and honest disclosure will never happen. money, accountability, and secrecy.

hi hammer. do you think your interest in ufo phenomena is your need to have answers? because it sounds like your experiences have been really unpleasant. and you dont feel any discomfort when you see lights?

when i talk about empathy / sympathy in the experience of humanity, i think i mean, that people on the whole are so consumed with their life, ambition, and unhappiness, that people just dont recognise need in others. some sort of reflex to help has been switched off. locally, nationally and globally. like, why do we let our politicians send our military into other countries and cause death and destruction and poverty and hunger and disease. why do we support so many countries who are committing genocide on their own people. why do we turn a blind eye when one of our allies is bombing another country and yet, one woman dies in iran and all of a sudden there is a call to war by the so called democratic countries to support 'democracy' in a country that operates well enough without our covert undermining of their governments. why do we as citizens of rich nations do nothing when there is so much wrong with the world. and that inability to personalise such suffering filters down to national, local and personal interactions with others around us.

I have watched a lot of stuff in the last week and i understand what you mean about how negative the abduction xperience is on most people. i dont think i would wish it on myself.

but damn, i want to know what it is all about.

i was in roseville minnesota sunday moring at about 3am lookin up at the big dipper....an i noticed to my right a huge light. that looked very very similar to a satelite but it was probably 7 to 8 times larger then most ive seen before and this one seemed to be as low as a plane, it moved semi kinda slow. it was a big white light, ther was no blinking lights or sound. ive seen well over 1,000 satelites in my day and this one was different, it looked to damn close then any satelite ive ever seen before...... also i heard we are able to view the space station at certain times an locations. maybe it was that? i donno, does any one know what it may have been?
