I always have this kind of thinking

We are only robot created by aliens (or God in the bible).

I don't like this kind of thinking, but I can't help my self not to think this way.

Anyone please help me not to think this way?

I believe we will never know. All I do know is that I exist as far as my perception allows me to. My perception allows me to know that there is a life after death. We are intelligences that are indestructible. Our bodies are not so lucky. They are like shoes that wear out. But when they do, our intelligence or "soul" gets another pair of shoes which I feel were created by a higher intelligence than ours. Don't drive yourself crazy. We live in an ever expanding universe. That goes for us humans as well. So above, so below. Just chill. It'll always get better. Hammer

Let's say in a thousand years.. scientists, would be able to create artifical intelligence, and able to build something identical to a human. Everything is identical. it is not a clone, it is built bit by bit.

Let's say we make some thousands of these and isolate them. They do not know we exist.
They have a strong self-awareness just like us, and they have the almost solipsitistic first person "I" feeling like we do. They are identical. They ofcourse also have a thinking patter that there has to be more and that they probably will transcend after death, but we know they are just like machines identical to us.

Would these guys have a soul? they are identical to us, they think excatly the way we do.

What i am implying, is that what you feel as a complicated thinking pattern and divine self-awareness is just a load of chemical reactions within your brain. We are structures of nature, like everything else.

Humans are the first specie of this world which knows it's going to die.
We all have a subconscious fear of death.
and for many and most it is hard to face the ultimate faith which is the doom of the individual. Though new science tells us, that to die, does not have to happen, it's a trait put forward by natural selection. It is beneficial for the race as a whole. The Hydra for instance, can live forever unless it is destroyed. It does not age, or it replaces the old. Like we do for a time.

you make some interesting observations. I am not convinced that we as humans can be certain that other species are not aware of their mortality. Being a partner in life to many scores of animals and also the ex spouse of an administrator of the Bronx Zoo, I've been privy to experience many animal's behaviour prior to their passing. They all exhibited similar behaviour: lethargy, loss of appetite, signaling a need to show their willingness to pay their last respects. The later is of course a subjective observation on my part, but it was clear to me what they were trying to communicate. For example: my dog giving me his paw and looking me in the eyes as if to say, "I'm going". I've experienced the same sort of behaviour in my psychiatric patients before their deaths. They lost all appetite, slept a lot, and became sentimetal, that is, among those who were still cogent. To give you my opinion on what one might call,"God's creations", I would tell you, there is more soul in a sparrow than in what we would call an "alien". That is my feeling and my experience. Since there is no scientific proof to the contrary, and since our governments aren't forthcomming with the truth, we are left to our own devices. I will tell you one other thing I believe. Immortality is a personal decision. Take it from there and live as long as you want to.

Bluxman: You are not even close to being a robot. In case your wondering, what we call Aliens today, may not be, they in fact may have been here before us. They may have brought us here from, the Garden of Paradise, MARS. Mars cooled several billion years before Earth was cool enough to inhabit. They had plenty of time to evolve to the point of Space Travel. Many ancient tales, talk of Firey Dragons, coming down from the sky. I saw a Cave painting, that showed a very normal looking Flying Saucer, and flames are shooting out the bottom. This is not uncommon, even though the drawings have been radio carbon dated to 14,000 years BC. We are related to one species that now live here in our oceans. The Bible as well as The Sanskrit writtings, the Dyzine Book of the Dead, the Kebbernegesh, the Rama Yama, etc. etc. etc. all tell the same story. There was a race here, it interacted with humans, they married some human women they found to be fair, the took some people up for a ride. If the TRUTH were know, we are about as far ahead of Bonobos Apes as they are ahead of us. Depressing? If you always look for the negative! But, we can interbreed with them. This means that eventually we'll become them. After all didn't their God say he made man in his OWN IMAGE & LIKENESS. If you read Genesis, you may find a real reason for optimism! After the event in the Garden, the Gods were talking and said: Now tham man has eaten from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, we must put him from the Garden least he put forth his hand and eat from the Tree of Eternal Life. This explains why offspring of the Sons of God and Human women, lived for as long as 900 years. This one fact alone sent my life in a new direction. If you watch the Science channels, you'll soon realize that life extending drugs are on the front burner at many of the drug companies. They market for such a drug would be EVERYONE, unless your NUTZ. But, welcome aboard. kerep your ears open.

No! They wouldn't have a Soul, because we don't have any SOULTrust me. I've studied the God UFO connection for 49 years now. "All the Biblical Gods were\are Aliens". If a God existed it would be impossible for a developed system to have suddenly popped into exsistance. All evolved systems need time to evolve. And where did the particles come from God is made of, you forgot about that? Grow up and get educated, knowledge doesn't always hurt, try it?

God, is beyond our comprehension. God, or the ALL, is living mind. It has no beginning and no end. It creates everything. What is it that moves the living body of creation? When the living body is destroyed, that which mobilizes it is gone. You can think what you want, but I've only got my experience to go on. I can't make you believe what I know. We do have a soul. That's not to say you are wrong, there are beings out there that don't have souls. But just let a dog get around them.

Hi Hammer: I wrote to tell you of something awful that happened today. I was sitting down here and my son came in carrying our cat in his arms.The dogs next door got out and killed him in our front yard. CJ took him to 3 vets, because he was still alive, but none were open, he died on the way to the fourth Vet. I wish you could see my sons face, he's devastated. They passed a law in the area about 6 years ago, and you cannot let any Dog run free, they must be restrained or on a leash.Seeing CJ carrying that dead Cat in his arms as he pet him and talked to him, was about more than I can handle.

I'm sorry for that horrible happening. Even if you didn't believe that sentient beings have a soul, wouldn't it make you feel better if you did? You're living in this moment. I just wrote about dogs, not knowing this would happen. You wrote me back about this terrible event and mentioned your son CJ. Those are my son's initials. We are all connected. My heart goes out to you and your son. You must be very proud of him, and love him as I do my son, and his son. The cat is in good hands, that's all I know.
