I think that anyone who is viewing this site is interested in things that are more pervasive than that which they can experience on their television set or talk radio. Those two means of communication are vehicles of propaganda that will keep one ignorant of what is really going on. Since we are here concerned with the UFO phenomenon, I will try to limit my comments to it. I find it interesting that even though UFOs have been portrayed in works of art from the times of the Egyptians, Mayans, and european painters of the middle ages through the Renaissance, art historians are curiously silent on this subject. I find it interesting that images of UFOs, which, when one has seen them before, are repleat in paintings in which religious symbols are predominantly involved. What were these artist trying to tell us? Artists were, in those days, revered for their ability to render the truth of our reality through the medium of their time. They invented their own inks and colours just like Leonardo De Vinci did. Today, the artist’s pallet is the computer. But that being said, what have the artists of yore tried to tell us? Through their symbolism of characters like Jesus or Mary, with undoubtedly UFOs in the background, they were showing us a power behind the power. Many people wonder why it is that certain symbols are common among many cultures around the world. One glaring example is the swastica. How can it be that this symbol, bastardized by the nazis, can be found in Tibet, Mexico, India, and most ancient cultures around the world? The logical answer is there must have been a form of global communication. Regardless of a lack of verbal communication, symbols communicate an idea in the most simple form who all understand. When I look at a painting made in the fifteenth century with a clear and deffinate UFO in it behind the virgin Mary, I know what the artist was trying to say. On the other hand, when I see the same picture with a strange, deamon like creature in it I understand that also. My conclusion is this: UFOs have been with us forever. The religious texts and works of art of humankind refer to them. These texts and artworks also refer to the forces of good and evil. These forces in the universe exist and are real. We have to accept them and live with them. I have personally been in contact with both. We as human beings do have the choice on which side we will be on. It’s not always easy, but if we all treat each other with respect, our decisions will be easier.
